MBA Programs

The CIBT School of Business MBA is one of the first government-approved foreign MBA programs in Beijing. In 1998, the program received regulatory approval of the Academic Degree Committee of the State Council of China. Tapping into the sizeable demand for advanced business training, the CIBT School of Business MBA is a part-time program delivered jointly with City University to about 300 students from many well-known multinational firms operating in China. Additionally, CIBT is preparing to launch an Executive MBA program and a separate bilingual MBA program, to be delivered to senior-level executives in a flexible delivery format.

In a Letter of Commendation dated May 2000, the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges recognized the MBA program delivered in China by CIBT School of Business as a successful model for the development of international graduate programs. In a 2001 comprehensive evaluation of 30 foreign MBA programs conducted by the Chinese government and management experts, the CIBT School of Business program received a highly favorable review and was ranked in the top ten. In 2004, CIBT's MBA program was ranked in the top ten by World Executive Weekly, further reinforcing CIBT's well regarded popularity and academic excellence in China.
