To complement this vision, Mr. Chu also established several international pathway programs to attract international students to transfer their academic credits to CIBT partner schools in English speaking countries such as the United Kingdom, Australia, Switzerland, New Zealand, Netherland, Canada and the United States.
To realize his vision of delivering western education to emerging Asia, Mr. Chu structured the acquisition of Sprott-Shaw Community College in 2007, the largest private career and degree granting college in Western Canada with 107 years of operating history, and 24 teaching facilities worldwide.
