Mr. Champagne is a veteran of the US private post secondary education sector with a distinguished professional career as an industry leader, innovator and entrepreneur. Mr. Champagne began his career with a 17-year tenure with Colgate Palmolive acting as vice president and general manager of consumer and industrial products. In 1985, Mr. Champagne joined ITT Educational Services, Inc (“ITT”) as president and CEO. Mr. Champagne guided ITT through detailed restructuring of business services, reengineering all aspects of school management and standardizing programs and training initiatives. During his tenure, ITT revenues grew from $90 million to $462 million annually and in 1994 ITT completed a successful IPO on the New York Stock Exchange. ITT currently has 75 campuses in 28 states with 33,500 students.

Mr. Champagne is widely recognized as a leader in the private post secondary education sector. Forbes Magazine has recognized ITT as one of its top 200 small cap companies for three consecutive years, and Business Week magazine has listed ITT as one of America’s hottest stocks for two consecutive years. In 2003, Mr. Champagne was awarded the honor of Entrepreneur Of The Year in United States sponsored by Ernst & Young Chartered Accountants.
