Mr. Henry Chiu has been a director of CIBT since May 1997. Mr. Chiu has more than 20 years in experience in areas ranging from engineering, consultancy to management training. Prior to joining CIBT, Mr. Chiu worked for the Hong Kong Productivity Council for 16 years, the last four as its Deputy Executive Director. Among his responsibilities, Mr. Chiu was in charge of the development of new businesses for the Council, which included the establishment and management of its China offices in Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Mr. Chiu was appointed Advisor to the Shenzhen Municipal Government providing services to the Shenzhen Science & Technology Committee. Mr. Chiu oversees the China expansion plans for CIBT.
