Cal Purcell
Executive Vice President (Business Development), Sprott-Shaw Community College
Cal Purcell has been with Sprott-Shaw Degree College since 1992. His duties have included liaising with all levels of government and First Nations governments in developing training programs and the furthering of government relations. He has participated in various boards and committees on behalf of the College including Chairperson for CSLP Portfolio Management Task Force, Vice Chair of the Private Career Training Institutions Agency (BC's private education and accreditation commission), and is a past member of the Private Post Secondary Education Committee, and the Ministers Sector Table for Employability Programming. He is also Past President of Labor Market Career Information Association of British Columbia.
Cal’s management experience includes the coordination, writing and submission of proposals of new labor market initiatives, coordination and delivery of Life Skills Training programs in Sprott-Shaw Campuses, and currently he manages the Canada Student loans Portfolio Management Program within the College.
