The primary strategy of CIBT is to develop partnerships with recognized
international training and education providers and adapt programs
to the Chinese marketplace. Additionally, CIBT sets up joint venture
relationships with local Chinese partners who bring local representation,
established credibility and access to a network of government contacts,
thereby overcoming financial constraints and minimizing risks.

Through its partnership with BT, formed in 1995, CIBT benefits
through access to a leading Chinese university with an established
reputation, credibility and government relations. BT is a multidisciplinary
university of engineering, science, management and liberal arts.
Founded in 1960, BT is a selected member of China's Project 211,
a project consisting of a select group of 100 of China's 1,000 institutions
of higher education chosen to play a leading role in training China's
high-level manpower for the 21st century. With a total enrolment
of 14,000 undergraduate and graduate students, BT has close ties
to local industry and is the largest university under the jurisdiction
of the Beijing Municipal Government. Within its academic structure,
BT has 11 distinct colleges, covering academic areas such as engineering,
humanities and management. Included in this group is the CIBT School
of Business, a joint venture established in 1995 between BT and
CIBT Canadian Institute of Business and Technology Corp.
Weifang University

Weifang University is one of the largest state-owned post-secondary institutions with over 26,000 full-time students. Founded in 1952, WFU covers an area of 800 acres with over 400 faculty members on its teaching a research teams. CIBT Beihai International College, a jointly owned institution by CIBT and WFU, specialized in business and technology degree programs at the undergraduate level. Beihai College is a government recognized degree granting institution with licenses to accept internationals students and recruit local students across China. In addition to its program with CIBT Beihai College, WFU also has academic exchange programs with prestigious Chinese university such as Tsinghua University, Beijing University, Nankai University and several universities and colleges in the United states, Great Britain, Australia, Japan, Thailand and Korea. CIBT’s working relationship with Weifang University dates back to 2003, and further strengthened its strategic relationship with the acquisition of Beihai College, a division of WFU, in 2004. Jinhua Career & Technical College

Established in 1994, Jinhua Career & Technical College is a state owned post-secondary vocational college located in Jinhau City, China. Approved by the Ministry of Education in 1998, JCTC is one of the largest vocational institutions in the area with 15,000 students enrolled in 64 programs. By focusing on providing internships into their curricula, JCTC has established industry relationships with over 150 organizations.
